To take over: This beautiful Lemsteraak

The Zeearend (Seaagle) is a beautiful Lemsteraak designed by Brinksma and built in 1985 at the Nieuwe Kielkade in Bolsward. It was on this site, which excelled by the construction of nicely lined barges, the last Lemsteraak for the closure of the yard. Mr Bruinsma wanted to build his "magnum opus" with this ship. The ship has a beautiful sheer, a tough look and decorated with lots of carvings. The sea eagle at the helm alone attracts a lot of attention in every port.

We are the second owners when we bought the ship in 1996. There was little sailing and some sails were still unused in the sail bags.

The Zeearend was for us a family ship with which we sailed throughout the Netherlands. We also sailed a lot of competitions such as the Delta Week, Flevorace, Dutch Championships and the Harlingen Terschelling which was won several times by us.

After a few years we got the taste of the open water and we sailed to England, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Poland. The Zeearend and the crew could handle a wave. We have also written about this in various editions of the magazine “ Spiegel der Zeilvaart”.

In 2009, the Zeearend received a complete refit at the Van Rijnsoever shipyard including the 60 HP Volvo Diesel .

The Zeearend is beautifully maintained and always in a heated hall in winter.

The Zeearend is fully equipped with everything you can expect on a Lemsteraak of this length. See the enclosed list.

We would like to sell this beautiful ship- our age plays a role- to a real enthusiast.

The asking price is € 139,000 and we cann offer the buyer a smooth financial arrangement if required.  Who wants to know more about this beautiful ship can email us: kaan@xs4all.nl or call 0031 70 3175571.
